PETER FRANCIS JAMES
A New York based actor, and graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, for more than 15 years, Peter has been resident Shakespeare teacher, in the graduate acting program, at the world renowned Yale School of Drama. He has also been guest tutor at BADA at Oxford since 2006. Work in Theater; on Broadway, in The Merchant of Venice (with Al Pacino), On Golden Pond, Drowning Crow, and Judgement at Nuremberg, and Off-Broadway in Stuff Happens (for which he received OBIE, Lucille Lortel, and Drama Desk Awards), and Jean Genet's The Maids (Obie Award) and over a dozen Shakespeare productions for the Public Theater, downtown and in Central Park. He appeared opposite Maggie Smith, in Edward Albee's The Lady from Dubuque, in London, and in Cymbeline at the RSC. He was resident at the Guthrie Theater under the great Romanian director Liviu Ciulie. Television/Film: Oz, Bull, Law and Order, Royal Pains, Gossip Girls, Mysteries of Laura, DC: Legends of Tomorrow/ Sydney Hall, The Humbling, The Losers, Montana, The Rosa Parks Story, Simple Justice, etc. An award winning voice artist, he has recorded more the 60 books, numerous games, and animation.
